Construction QA Manager

We are looking for a Construction QA Manager to lead the supervision of the assembly and commissioning of photovoltaic structures in utility-scale and distributed generation parks, carrying out inspections directly on the projects and coordinating a team of technicians.

Minimum requirements:

Essential:

• Technical training in renewable energies.
• Reading and interpreting plans (AutoCAD).
• Basic PRL training (60 hours).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in similar positions.
• Experience in the assembly and quality control of photovoltaic structures.
• Office 365 user.
• Project AutoCAD.

Languages:

• English, intermediate level.
• Italian, an advantage.

What are the main duties?

• Coordinate the After Sales Services Technicians team to ensure the correct execution of installation support tasks, construction quality supervision and commissioning of fixed structures and solar trackers.
• Perform installation support tasks, construction quality supervision and commissioning of fixed structures and solar trackers.
• Coordinate communications between the Construction, Engineering, Quality and Commissioning departments on assembly quality, product quality, commissioning and other issues arising during the construction phase.Managing customer relations regarding assembly quality issues during the construction phase.
• Training personnel to perform installation assistance tasks, construction quality supervision and commissioning of fixed structures and solar trackers.
• Ensuring the correct assembly of structures according to plans and project specifications.
• Management of non-conformities and control of corrections.
• Documentation of incidents, delays and corrective measures.
• Preparation of daily/weekly reports.
• Ensuring the correct electrical connection of control equipment.
• Commissioning of photovoltaic trackers.
• Checking the correct operation of photovoltaic trackers.
• Monitoring the operation of photovoltaic trackers after commissioning.
• Drafting of documentation on the progress of the work.
• Traceability and registration of installed equipment.

Other duties

• Stock control upon completion of the work.
• Registration of quality tools on site and control of the status of calibrations.
• Proposal of improvements in the procedures, tools and quality processes used during the construction phase.
